What is a BUD file

BUD files are generated by older versions of Microsoft Windows (2000 and XP) when a document is sent to the external printer. These files are automatically created and are usually encountered because there had been an error while printing.

This binary system file with the BUD extension is used to increase the spooler efficiency of drivers installed for a printer. BUD files need a certain amount of time to regenerate. If the needed time has not passed, a message stating that the print queue is full may put up when a user attempts to print something.
