MTW, Minitab Worksheet File (.mtw)

The MTW Data file format

Files with the MTW extension are created using Minitab. Minitab is a statistics program that is mostly used by quality management and supply chain. The MTW file contains business data relevant to use in Minitab. MTW files can not be edited. This is only possible for active Minitab worksheet files with an MTP extension.

Technical details of MTW files

The data inside the MTW file is saved as some kind of worksheet. The worksheet sonsists of rows and tables containing the relevant data. The Minitab program uses binary MTW files to create statistical analysis and drawing the respective graphs.
