KDC - Kodak Photo-Enhancer File

What is a KDC file

KDC files are RAW camera files, taken by certain digital cameras manufactured by Kodak. This file, also known as the Kodak Photogen file, contains bitmap image data. Images taken in the KDC are only minimally processed. They can be viewed on the Kodak digital camera itself or using image viewing and editing programs. However, KDC files taken with newer Kodak cameras may not me compatible with the older versions of Photoshop.

Like all camera RAW files, files with the KDC extension contain minimally compressed data. The images also contain information that is collected by the sensor of either the digital camera or scanner, such as lightning and white balance. Similar to Nikon's NEF files, KDC files are based on the TIFF image format.
