T65 - PageMaker Template File

What is a T65 file

Files with the T65 extension are created using Adobe PageMaker, a page layout designer for both Windows and Mac OS X. The file contains information about a page layout that can be used to create flyers, posters, magazines and more. PageMaker is an application that is no longer maintained by Adobe. It was, instead, replaced by InDesign. The T65 file extension, however, was replaced by another format with the release of PageMaker 7.0, namely by the PMT format.

T65 files are template files created and usable by Adobe PageMaker. The files do not contain the content of the page created in PageMaker. Instead, T65 files store different character set templates that are used to identify key strokes for the ASCII characters that are used to represent fonts in the completed layout.

Here's a small, but not exhaustive list of programs that can open T65 documents:

  • Adobe PageMaker (Windows & Mac)
  • Adobe InDesign (Windows & Mac)
